After the Christmas Eve service, we came home to get ready for bed and met up with Aunt Gretchen too. It was so good to see and visit with her!
PJ pic :)
The children were nestled, all snug in their beds :)
And Gretchen, B and I sat down to enjoy some Christmas classics while we waited on the rest of the crew to arrive...
Merry Christmas!
Trying to talk her into getting out of bed to open presents :)
She got the hang of it pretty quickly...
Cute hair pins and sparkly scarves :)
All the kids love Pots!
Aunt Gretchen knew just how to bring a huge smile to this little boy's face...lots of autographed college football memorabilia!
Missed this moment with the camera, but imprinted on my heart. Gehrig found this for Greer one day in a store, knew she would love it and spent his own $10 to buy it for her. After opening, she ran to hug him tightly. Love. them.
At the end of the day, he said the UGA piggy bank was probably his favorite gift. Yay for Target clearance!
And Mammaw got Greer's fave vote for the day with the hair-styling head named Sara :). Both girls love it!
SEC mini helmets!
Despite my anti-screen-time hesitancies...hoping for some good educational opportunities :)
Time to play :)
Daddy did the stocking-stuffer-shopping this year :)
B did such a sweet job of sharing about the humility of Christ in His coming as a baby for our salvation. (Phil 2). I'm so blessed.
Afternoon naps for the littles and Les Mis time for Pa, Gretchen & B. B is still singing the music and talking about how awesome it was!
And I settled in for some loved quiet time in the Word and refocusing for the day.
A Merry Christmas indeed. Jesus, we are so glad You came.
