While Jenn and the boys rested and adjusted to newborn life at home, our Link daughter got to come stay with us for a week! The kids were so happy to see her :))
Silly dinner girls...
We truly continued on as normal with no change even to the rhythm of life...she is just such an easy addition to the fam. The first couple of days, they spent lots of time taking care of her doll, Saige. All getting pjs on and ready for bed...
Garner tried to trick us into letting her sleep with them :)
We also had another sweet addition to our fam that week, Sarah. She was sweet and helpful and the kids loved having her. Madi especially enjoyed sweet conversations with her...and I enjoyed listening :)
We marked off some summer list activities too...donuts at night!
And princess dance camp! They were so, so beautiful. Even better were their sweet conversations as they were getting ready. It sounded so grown-up..."Can I borrow that lipgloss? I love your skirt! Your hair looks SO pretty." I felt like I was listening to them getting ready for prom. So thankful they will have each other to do that with one day!
Sara Kate rode with us all week while her parents were picking up their new siblings in Africa!(See http://www.threeitwillbe.blogspot.com/ for their sweet story.) Heading in for the first day...
Big smiles...it went great!
And seriously? They were so sweet and quiet in the car, each engrossed in one of the Magic Tree House books that were the popular read all week. I had to turn around at the red light and see what was going on. :)
So thankful for how sweet Sarah always is to our kids :)
Another day, another pose...
And funny faces at Madi's requested lunch spot...love them so much.
Bunch of book lovers back from the library...
And Virginia, the pink bear Madi adopted from Greer's mound of stuffed animals. She took such good care of her all week!
Watched them make a pretend lemonade stand in the backyard one day...
So B and I helped them set up a real one the next day :)
I hid under the big crepe myrtle to keep watch. My view...
First customers :)
And I started getting teary as more came. They were so excited! And made enough to give to church and buy a toy each from the Target dollar bins.
Attention diverted...
And a quick dip next door to beat the heat.
Sleeping super late and so hard! She's had a fun week :)
Last night. Braided the girls hair to make it fun for their last day at camp. Sad that our week went so fast!
So beautiful!
Such a sweet performance, fun party and cute pic with Sophia :)
Finishing off a great week with froyo with B while I worked in the afternoon...
So so thankful for our sweet time with her...it was so fun and easy and felt just like normal, except with a constant playmate for the kiddos. :) Thanks, M&J, for letting us have her! Can't wait until y'all are back here full-time. :)
