We so loved heading for a playday with sweet friends downtown one afternoon...Greer made a buddy fast :)

Greer's journal warms my heart...

...and what in the world?  Sometimes I just don't love technology and its hold on today's culture.  Found them both pretending with play phones at the same time one day...

Sweet Rucker time :)

I didn't get a lot of pics of this year's swim team, but loved this one of Nathan cheering on Greer when they happened to visit on the same day we had a meet :))

And Daddy's turn...love.  We so enjoy our visiting with the sweet families at our June meets :)

My first-ever forking!  Our co-op leader turned 40 so the leadership team made sure that she felt loved!

And then...we got home that night just in time for a major summer storm.  Which would've been fine for the forking, but we had also rolled every bush and tree with rolls and rolls of toilet paper.  Since our consciouses wouldn't let us leave the goopy mess for her to clean by herself, we found ourselves back there the next morning picking it all up ;)

More sweet visiting with Nathan and Aunt Lindsey.  Loved having them! :)

Our new life...anytime visits with our buds and sweetness with Garner and Sam.  I LOVE it.

Fun swim and swing date with our Rucker buds...wish we could fit it in more often with both families' crazy summer schedules!  The girls planned their matching suits :)

And birthday party fun for Gehr's buddy, Luke.  So much cuteness and diving board trickery...

Father's Day and year-end dinner with our FCA kids...they are the best.  We will miss them so much!

Garner decided that she wanted to start reading lessons...we aren't pushing it but ohmaga, how can she be so big?!?!

And a fave day with baby Robin...we loved taking care of him while his sweet mama and daddy worked!

Summer is flying like always, but we particularly loved having this sweet month with Daddy home more and lots of good family and friend time.  So thankful!

visiting mammaw

After Andrew's birthday party, we hit the road for a weekend at Mammaw's.  Garner was pooped from the partying and caught a nap on the way ;)

We got to the farm just in time to head out to dinner with Mammaw & Pots.  So pretty there and fun to feed the catfish (and alligator :))...

At church on Sunday, the girls snuck up to the front row to be as close as possible to Mammaw as she sang...it was so sweet :))

And Gehr looked like a worship leader helping her with her guitar on the way out to the car ;)

While I caught up on some work, Mammaw, B and the Gs had lots of fun on the farm :))

And Garn ended the visit as she began it...asleep in the car!  It has never been super easy for her to fall asleep traveling, so it was hilarious to see it happen to her twice on one trip.  So thankful for a good visit and time in the great outdoors with our sweet Mammaw...we love you! :)
