filming garner

We have countless video tapes from Gehrig's first few years...when we still had a working video camera and time to find and use it.  Not the case after two and then, three kids.  Thankfully, our phones capture moments with Garner, especially at this age that is just so stinking cute :)

When they were supposed to be playing one afternoon while I finished up with work...

One day in Target...she would rather plop down in the book section than play in the toy aisles :)

When I was trying to explain that Jessica and Eric were coming to visit one weekend...she was determined that it was the other Jessica and Bebe (who visited together in October).

She "reads" to herself 24/7...one time that B caught on video without her saying "don't video me!"

And finally, singing "All the angels sing hallelujah, Jesus Christ is born!" :))

Thanks for watching :).  On to January...

december other

SO can't believe it's already the 23rd of January!  I still feel like we are working to get back into routine and normal life this new year.  Finishing up some pics from December here and then one more post with videos I want to document and then on to the new year finally!

My quiet time view on December mornings is so peaceful and beautiful...

Sent over from Jen to show Gentry's notes on his phonics one morning...made me stop again to thank the Lord for such great buddies for Gehr :))

After resttime I found this...the sign says "no parents aloud"

And a favorite thankful journal from Gehr

So many dreary days in December made us stop and look one morning when the sun broke through!

And the boys worked hard on their bowl game picks.  Gehrig ended up winning the whole pool!  (With Daddy and other coaches against him :))

Silly boy drawing his animal on his thankful journal this day :)

And has just been awhile since I captured her preschool time.  L is for leaf!

My birthday treat from my sweet hubby!  I shared the donuts, but not the drink ;)

Love my sweet Greer...she cut pics out of a magazine and picked something Madi loves for the "give" side.

Playing with the awesome vintage nativity at the Bournes

And snuggling with her friends "illegally" one morning ;)

One of my favorite pictures ever.  It captures her so well right now....girly bookworm and shoe-rule rebel ;)

Normally, they go to resttime from 2-4.  On a day I had an early work call, they slipped me a note to make sure I wasn't going to forget about them :)

Football with Gench...and the best photobomber, Camp :)

Lacing fun from the Ruckers to get her through college football bowl season.  Because you can bet that Gehrig wanted to watch every.single.game :)

Giftcard lunch out after church...love their cute faces :)

She insists on dresses most days...even when completely inappropriate for the season

Found this under the tree...with no idea of what it was or when it was wrapped :)

And finishing up with a nice evening view too.  A blessed and busy season...so thankful :))

new year's

We so love heading down to Dublin every New Year's Eve to see our sweet Dorman buds...and love that our kiddos think the ball only drops there, after being there every NYE of their lives ;)

One of the sweetest friends ever :))

This year, they put together a photo booth and it was so adorable and fun!  AND I continued to capture Gehrig and Chaney together a whole bunch too ;))

Taking a break from outside play...her dimples are so stinkin cute

During the fireworks...

And sparklers :)

Some of the kiddos photo-boothin'

And zooming in on Greer.  Love her :)

Towards the end of the evening, Heather gives out snacks and puts on a movie...so fun for them and nice when the hour is getting late :)

It's time!  Counting down, poppers, midnight kisses and not-so-tired kids :))

Praying for a great 2014!

The favorite part of the visit is always the next day...good visiting (with them and the Gibbs), New Year's Day football watching and even a little catching up on computer stuff.

Lyle had a different twin for a day ;)

So nice and relaxing.  And hard to leave.  Love you, sweet friends!  And Happy New Year to all :)

holidates

We so often wish that we could do everyday life with so many close friends that now live away from here, but are thankful for the opportunities, like the more relaxed holiday schedule and travel, that bring good visits with them.

First, the Baileys visited on their way home from their Christmas travels.  They have boy-girl-girl like we do at almost all the same ages...and they love each other so sweetly!

Seriously cute...Elle and Garner were born on the same day!

Loved the outside time for the boys...Cameron and Gehrig are a little more than a year apart and both love their sports :)

Love this view...we all watched a youtube Christmas video, Christmas in Bevelton, that NorthPoint did...only to have the song stuck in our heads for the rest of Christmas break.  Oh no, even typing this brings it back!

Now for some bowl game watching...seriously boys, do you think you can see the tv?? ;)

And Cam got to try his hand at the new BB gun too!

So cute!  Cam (9), Gehrig (8), Elle & Garner (3), Greer & Claire (6)

The little girls had fun snuggling in Elle's travel bed...so adorable

And last pics before they headed home and we left for Atlanta.  Thank you guys so much for coming. We love you!!

While in Atlanta, we got to visit with our sweet Johnson buds.  We love their whole crew, but have truly never seen two boys so similar as our oldests.  They don't even say hello after 6 months of not seeing each other...just start right in where they left off.  Really fun :)

So wish that we saw them all more!  It is always such a joy and lots of fun.  Garner wasn't up to the whole picture-posing idea after doing it so much over the holidays.  Just pretend that she's smiling ;)

And for dinner that day, we met up with the Coopers.  :))  We are so so sad to miss our annual MLK visit with them in 2014, but were thankful to have a quick visit and meal and hugs and playtime instead. We love these lifelongs so dearly!!

So blessed and thankful for these sweet friends and the opportunity to have time with them over the holidays.  And for the Dormans at NYE...more on that coming up!!
