Gehrig missed the Rucker boys so much with all of our families' travel in June/July. So happy to reunite at church early in August :)
Just stopped to notice her beauty at the park one day...
Our treasure box...they buy goodies at the end of the week depending on how much they earn for working hard in school :)
There were SO many days (and by that, I mean hundreds of them) that I came into Greer's room after resttime to find it completely wrecked. I don't take it for granted that she has grown to understand the rule of cleaning up before finishing resttime now. It is a breath of fresh air to walk in to a clean room! It also reminds me that phases and stages of parenting can seem so long and tiring...and then are gone so quickly. A good perspective for challenges ahead :)
On a warm August night, they decided they were "cold"...or at least wanted to be silly while doing their history lesson :)
So thankful for their help with chores!
FCA leadership meets at the house every other week for dinner and planning. Really love them...
And so do our kids :)
Wednesday night church buds...hope those poor trees survive the playtime afterwards!
Garner time for the bigs
And ready for bed...growing impatient when we stopped to watch an inning of the Braves game. Got my book, my paci and my lovey...let's go!
Her FAVE thing to do
Looking tall today!
And sweet :)
Found the wise men diapered by Garner. Her time is mostly spent reading or playing with baby doll stuff :)
Had a tough day with Gehr one day and really wasn't sure we were getting anywhere talking about it. I encouraged him to take it to the Lord and did the same myself. The next day he showed me this...a prayer schedule and special place to go seek the Lord. So thankful for the grace God shows us as parents. It can feel so hopeless one minute and then so precious the next.
Haircuts for the girls...she looks 5 years older!
Bowling with co-op buds!
And sweet Brandi took all three of mine home afterwards to play and for me to go home and work in the quiet. Such a sweet friend :)
Garner loves it there
Saturday morning with our buddies at bingo...so love that time with them.
And a little gathering for our friend, Chris...first of our close buds to turn the big 4-0! Kind of crazy :)
Still not moving much in the crib. She cracks me up :)
Some Little Einstein action...
And the 5th Wednesday in a row of a vacuuming the house. What a difference a schedule makes!
