august visitin'

We were so glad to have a couple of great weekend visits in August.  First, our Owens buds came in from Chattanooga.  It's so fun to watch the kids jump right in just like the grownups do :)

The mamas and four of the kiddos went to dinner while the daddies and biggest boys went golfing...

Chad and Kelli shared beautifully with our life group about their cancer journey this past year.  And then we just visited and visited...seriously loved every minute :).

So wish it were more often, but thankful...time with them is so so good for our souls :)

Then, Slade & Jess and their cuties came another weekend.  Greer made up the trundle for Lily with an Alabama blanket :))

We enjoyed a Saturday of checking out sights around town, eating at one of our fave stops and then hitting up a local staple for ice cream :)

After some good afternoon resting, we headed to the canal/river for a good walk...so beautiful :))
