It is always a bit hard for me to leave the fam, but time with these two made a weekend away much easier. We headed to Asheville for our church's women's retreat and to share some about the discipleship journey we've been on the past couple of years...
Sure do love this city and all its quirkiness. Couldn't get over this crocheted Catan at the yarn shop...
And this...what a good reminder for those moments of fearfulness. I probably should've brought it home :)
Walking around downtown with them was probably my favorite part of the whole weekend...love their company, the city and all the yummy food and smells there :)
We participated in Lifeway's conference for part of the weekend...
And then had some time on our own as a church women's group at our hotel too. Jen snapped this as I stumbled through sharing time on discipleship...so so thankful for His work and the sweet time there. And for these two friends that are so precious in my life.
Meanwhile, the kiddos had a great weekend with the Brinks some of the time and B for the rest...
And when I got home, we took some time away to catch up with a great afternoon at the canal...love them so much and missed them like crazy...
Really thankful for my buddies, big and little :))
