Starting School(s)

Let me first say that it is CRAZY that Gehrig is in kindergarten. Although he is in old soul and acts so growny, he is still my baby and becoming an elementary age student has happened much too fast!

We are doing sort of a hybrid of schooling this year to transition to fulltime homeschooling for first grade. We've loved his church preschool these past four years and they finish up through kindergarten, so he is doing the bulk of his education there. In addition, we have started a great homeschool co-op once a week to help us prepare for next year. So far, it has worked out so well!

First day of co-op kindergarten...
. Greer goes to co-op too and loves it! :)

First day of school kindergarten...

Oh my...his own box with markers, crayons, glue, scissors etc...SO exciting for our lover of art!

Greer started her 2-day 2yr old class the next day. :)

She walked right in and loved it!

I'm excited about a great year for them and thankful for B's wisdom in sending Gehrig to school one more year since baby G3 will be making its arrival before we know it! We already love their teachers and the sweet kids they are with. Such a blessing!
