We didn't had a lot of sickness this winter season. However, when we finally did have our turn in March, it was not fun at all. As in, tummy-kind-of-not-fun-at-all. Garner got it first the weekend of Greer's ballet. We were so thankful for sweet family and friends who helped and loved on us. Bebe and her friend Kellie did so much around the house and with the two big kids while I held the constantly sleeping and sick Garner. Then, Uncle Clark and Aunt Chris braved the germs to keep her while we went to Greer's ballet. We are so grateful!
And then, a couple of days later, it was Greer's turn. This is the first time she's napped in years. Poor baby also had a sinus infection that made her struggle to get back to normal since everytime she coughed, it would make her get sick again. So sad and hard to watch. :(
Finally, after several days of being quarantined at home, the girls were all better and we focused on disinfecting and disinfecting and disinfecting to keep the rest of the family and all of our upcoming company well. As always after a sickness, it reminded us of how fortunate we are to have good health. And thankful too for spring and summer and hopefully less germs coming up. Thanks again, Bebe, Kellie and Bournes...not sure we would've made it without you!
One more night sleeping on Mama & Daddy's floor to make sure all is well...looking at this pic reminds me of just.how.tired. we all were.
And sweet Rucker friends brought us dinner and some treats for Greer to cheer us up...such a blessing :)
