A few months ago, we received word that B had been chosen to be inducted into his high school's Athletic Hall of Fame. We were so proud and excited for him and made plans to head down that way in October for the induction ceremony!
On the way the night before...we should've known that something wasn't quite right with her when she racked out early :(
Once at Mammaw's, the kids thought it was so cool that their daddy was "in a magazine!" :))
Unfortunately for Garner Bug, she woke with high fever and felt terrible the first part of the day. So thankful that we were already there and could rest and hold her for several hours.
Meanwhile, the big kids were roaming the farm with B and Mammaw. Greer had fun texting me from Mammaw's phone while they were away :))
Though she wasn't 100%, Garner was able to perk up a good bit before we headed out for the evening's festivities. Thankfully, Mammaw and Pots were on call to run her home if needed. We just hoped that all would be able to be there if possible and were grateful that it worked out that way.
The induction dinner was held first and was so nice.
Each of the 4 inductees this year had family members that were already members. It was so touching to see these family members present to the new inductees. Gretchen has been a part of the HOF since 1998... so cool to have both kids be so involved and athletic!

Afterwards, we headed to the SCHS football game for the formal induction at halftime. So much fun for B to be back and visit with lots of folks there :)
