I was surprisingly ready to get the house back this year after the holidays. The quiet and clean and calm and simple was so nice.
Before school started back, Gehrig had Gentry, Luke and Brooks over to play one morning. The tackle dummy he got from the Pouloses was a hit :)
Cute and sweet boys
Meanwhile, the girls enjoyed a Poulos gift too :)
Eeeking out the last few bowl games...
...and begging to stay up to watch the rest :)
Playdate time for Greer...Madelyn is super sweet
And the night of the National Championship...Greer spent most of the night with the magnetic map from Bebe
...and Gehrig outlasted both B and me :)
A new fun game from Britt and Margaret...
...and what we are covered up with here these days. Such a sweet daddy to help Greer with her rainbow-looming :)
Daddy/daughter date...she asks for these often and they have the best time :)
Sneaking her lovies and looking too cute for me to fight it ;)
Greer's phonics...she'll never be one to do anything "plain" :))
Love when I find them asleep in the same bed from talking and reading together
And a favorite hour with my sweet boy. He set up an animal sanctuary and taught me so much from his animal encyclopedia...always surprises me to hear all that he knows!
When did they all get big?! They moved Garner's seat to the wayback with them and no one needs my help buckling anymore. Surreal
She brought this home from school and I almost didn't recognize her. Those eyes and dimples melt me!
...which is a good thing when a day comes like this where she is whiny and arguing and wearing me down...
Every morning. I know she's up when I hear her curtains slide across the curtain rod so that she can open her blinds. It makes me smile :)
Y'all, it's been a winter to beat all winters...with cold and rain like I've never seen. A sunny day came and we literally hit the ground running...thank You Lord!
Leftovers from a playdate...love :)
Oh this view...it makes my reading-loving heart so happy :)
Salvation day! Gehrig picked froyo for his spiritual birthday treat :))
Seem so big on the playground at co-op, gathered around the rainbow loom ;)
And the cuteness that makes her spoiled...
Loved Gehrig's thankful journal on this day. I am the furthest thing from creative there ever was, but my kids have some of it and think it is cool and have great influences in their lives that encourage it. I love watching it in them!
A little target practice date at the Millers :)
And my running partner on another cold day. At least we could warm up from laughing until we got going :)
Girls afternoon date :))
And a random journal assignment from Greer...what's on the mind of a kindergartner :)
Playmaking with my buddy
And a girls' night with some FCA family to make goodie bags for the basketball team :)
She found a baby "fwa" and said it was like Andrew's :))
And joined me in bed one morning after randomly waking early...
Greer's thankful journal speaking for all of us...
...and sweetness. Found Greer cutting up strawberries for a snack for them. Love their dangling feet :)
And finally, a movie night after finishing the book, "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" while the boys were at baseball practice. Cute movie and cute girls :))
