We got home from our July trip to this in the mail from the authors! Greer had written them a letter telling them how much she loves their books and they wrote back and sent a new one! Seriously, she was as excited as I've ever seen her :))

Back to life, back to reality :). I was actually glad to get moving on school, co-op, family plans for the new year

The children's ministry at church held weekly gatherings in July for the graduating 5th graders to help bond and prepare them for middle school. It was so so great in every way!
And the kids and I enjoyed some restful family days as August approached...

Getting so big...it's really fun taking her to places like this art studio for her first time...and crazy sometimes to remember that she's our baby
This summer was a little crazier in my mind. Partly because of the anticipation of Gehrig going to public school and not wanting to do much other than have time together, I think. Thankful still for time to rest from a busier routine...and thankful too for the return to it all in August. Those posts are coming up!
