Parent Baby Dedication

My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words.

Don't lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart,

For they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body.

Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.

Avoid all perverse talk; stay away from corrupt speech.

Look straight ahead and fix your eyes on what lies before you.

Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path. Proverbs 4:20-26

Thank you sweet family and friends for sharing this special time with us too and praying for us as we raise Garner to know, love and follow Jesus with all her heart.

March Randoms

Sunshine...

Laughter :)

Love.

Found her feet this month...

And has to be woken from these great naps all the time to take and pic up her siblings...the life of a third.

Gehrig and Greer can't get enough of her!

And I love it. :)

And finally, Gehrig has loved his geography class with Mrs. Rucker this semester at co-op. He came out from resttime the other day with his stash from their study of the United States altogether. So fun!

And the March album is ready! Getting caught up...that's what happens when I go on vacation to Jenn's for a few days :)

Where We've Been

It's been crazy busy around here lately, with our March Madness of baseball games every day, three kids, cool CreativePharmacist stuff, sickness and oh yeh, selling our house! I didn't realize all that went along with that. We are finishing up repairs this weekend per the inspection report and are scheduled to close next week. Please join us in praying for patience for God to lead us to the perfect home He has for us!

So now that March is almost over...I just got February's album up. Enjoy :)

Madis Surprise

So we finally feel like we may be catching up a little on lost time with the Links. Not that it compares at all to being together daily like we used to be, but we will take it. :) Jenn and the kids came through a couple of weekends ago to visit and celebrate Madi's birthday on their way to seeing their fam.

Before we get to Madi's party, check out the project the big kids worked on...a book trail. All the way from Greer's room to Gehrig's room. :)
.
And choosing a couple to read at bedtime...this makes me happy :)
.
Now to Madi's party. So, she had been saying for weeks that she wanted a surprise party for her birthday. When asked what that meant, she said she wanted everyone to hide, jump out and say "surprise!" And then sing happy birthday. How cute is that?

Maymay, Kristen and I got things set up at the park...

Beckett and Greer's hiding place :)

The birthday girl was all smiles when she arrived...

Sweet kiddos and a sweet time together...

.
.

.

Happy birthday Mads! We love you so much! :)
.
And just to leave you with some cuteness...sweet Sam after all the fun...

Deployment

Though we've known that Matt would deploy for a long time now, it still wasn't easy to see him go. We are so so proud of his service and thankful for their sacrifice... just also really sad for the long time apart. I am so overwhelmed with gratefulness for the many families in our military that endure the challenges that come with deployment for all of us. Our country is so blessed.

The kids and I went down to see them that weekend and provide distraction, love and company for a few days. The Lord provided amazingly beautiful weather that helped cheer us all up and make those first days go quickly. His peace truly transcends all understanding and was so evident there. :)

Before leaving for the airport...

As I mentioned, the weather was gorgeous and we soaked it up, taking almost every opportunity we could to be out there.

Oddly enough, we didn't get any pictures of the kids riding their bikes even though it was what they did most of the time! It was really fun. One day for lunch, we strolled the babies while the big kids rode down to the neighborhood park. Oh, how I miss doing this on a daily basis with them!!

And just in case you're having a bad day...love and cuteness everywhere!

All kids love Jenn :)

A wagon ride and tea party...

And finally, our last night...baby baths and movie night.

2 Thessalonians 1:11 says "And so we keep on praying for you, that our God will make you worthy of the life to which he called you. And we pray that God, by his power, will fulfill all your good intentions and faithful deeds." We are praying for you, Matt and will take good care of your three. We love you!
