Gehrig's Baseball Season

Gehrig played machine pitch little league for the first time this year.  Although completely random, he ended up with a great group of coaches and talented team.  He started off a little slow hitting the pitching machine, but ended up doing really well, both behind the plate and defensively.

Their team only lost 1 game during the regular season and ended up winning through the playoffs too.  Sweet buddy, Gentry, came to watch Gehr play in the championship game!

Such a fun season and very proud of how Gehr improved and played hard.  It definitely felt like the first year that they were really starting to understand the game and playing their positions, etc.  But also nice that it isn't quite at the level that it takes over our lives and schedule.  Wishing it could stay just like this! :)

As my bud, Kelli, pointed out, she has impressive skills for an 18mo old when it comes to putting clothes on.  I wonder if she will be a serial-multiple-outfits-in-a-day-wearer like her big sister :)

She enjoys reading.  Love that the book takes up the full length of her legs and only her feet stick out on the other side...

This is what her feet have looked like a lot the past couple of months because she has been determined to crawl and not walk.  Thankfully, she finally transitioned to be an official walker by the end of May.  :)

She loves to bring a book "buh buh," back up into your lap and listen...she also loves glasses or hats and is happy to keep them on.  Even inside :)

She had a tough sick month.  Fevers and croup and ear infection and molar-teething.  Praying all will be well going forward!
