We've been to a lot of football games over the years, but I'm pretty sure that none have compared to the Lakeside game of 2013. We scored twice in the last 50 seconds to take the win, complete with a recovered onside kick and great plays in the last drives. So exciting and fun, especially when it's such a big rival. And a national group was there filming it as the rival game of the week! Awesome.
Some extra home pics from the Links visit for the girls' birthdays. Love.
Gehrig missed some of their visit, hanging out with his buddy Luke at Luke's football game and then going to eat and play afterwards. They're getting so big.
He still got in some good Andrew-loving when he was home. He reminds me so much of my brothers and how good they've always been with babies :)
Greer had some good snuggle time too :)
And my turn to play :))
Family worship time at night...so thankful for B's heart for the Lord and for our family :)
Flag football time! Gehr loves wearing his mouthpiece everywhere ;)
Playdate with the Rucker boys...Greer and Campbell paired off and pretended to be babies in the packnplay with a baby movie
And these two are almost always in the yard with a football. I love it :)
Aunt Lindsey sent Garner some fun handwriting practice...she is doing great!
And how I find her most nights when I check on them before heading to bed :)
Greer's chosen outfit for grocery shopping after our visit to the Bell School ;)
And some of my favorite pjs are back :)
Flag football at Gentry's birthday party...such a fun group of boys!
Meanwhile, Greer snapped some pics of B and me :))
Dinner and cake under the lights...Happy birthday Gench!
We finally had to replace a carseat after the other one lived with us for 8 years. She likes her new one and the girly look and looks really big in it...
Mammaw, Aunt Gretchen and Charlie met us for a fun lunch date. Love this pic of Mammaw and her grands :))
One of my favorite views (from my lap)...
...and another one of my favorite views. I love little girl fashion :)
Our thankful tree. Instead of adding a leaf daily or on a particular schedule, we just let everyone add gifts as they occurred to them this year...
Shopping for Operation Christmas Child boxes made for a really fun night :)
Oh Garner...
Greer hung out at the guys' table during our November visit with our Westwood buddies :)
And flag football has been fun for all...playing the actual game and rainbow looming for the girls. Thankful to share that time with our Rucker buds and for a fun (light!) schedule of learning more about football
Cracked up that both my kids listed diet coke as their favorite drink on their OCC info form when they aren't allowed to have it...I've tainted them ;(
Greer's cute fashion sense...and, she looks so grown
Our sweet Miller friends let the kiddos come play for an overnight visit to give B and me a date night. It was lovely for all. The kids had a wonderful time and B and I so enjoyed time to visit without anywhere to be at any certain time. We ran into the Ruckers as an added bonus while we were out! We are so thankful for the gift of that time together!
With some free tix, we headed to the local dairy farm one afternoon with the girls. The swings were their favorite :)
He spoils her!
Lunching with my cuties...so so thankful for so much time with them!
Potty training finally...she was super excited about her new panties :)
Cute girl time at Millie's party...unfortunately, it took about an hour and a half for Garner to warm up there :(
Friday morning bowling with our co-op buds
And what a joy. The boys usually go to breakfast on Saturday morning for father-son devotion time and visiting, but I had to be somewhere this particular day, so they did the same thing at home. I peeked in from the garage before walking in and found them bowed in prayer. Love.
Potty training day 1 was interesting and hard, but she picked it up pretty quickly after that... pretty funny attire in the meantime :))
My constant view for a couple of days...
Greer made a list of what she wants to be when she grows up. A Georgia cheerleader, Georgia gymnastics, animal explorer and a hair do-er and styler :))
Cute lunch date :)
And Gehr's starting to spend some time in a deer stand with Dad :)
Just because they were cute and piled up...
And our new view...kind of crazy to have no more diapers after 8.5 years!
Links stopped through on their way to visit family for Thanksgiving...so Garner wasted no time before asking to hold Andrew :)
And my view right after UGA beat GT but before Bama lost to Auburn. What a crazy day of football!! I love these days with my fam...even when one of our teams lose.
Getting started on December posts soon. This month has been busier than the past couple of Decembers. Not the way I prefer it, but thankful for the season and family and so, so many blessings!
