febs

This Sunday School year has been so super sweet with my K5-ers.  I so look forward to seeing them every week and am grateful to have gotten to know that there is such a great group of church friends in Greer's age group!

We admitted finally that the top just wasn't going to catch up with the back...and we snapped a couple of pics before cutting off Garner's mullet ;)

Super Bowl party at the Masseys' :))

One of many moments I am overwhelmed with how blessed my life is...sitting on the porch working and watching them play and love each other so well.  Stopping to give thanks with a pic to remember :)

Greer loves her doll from Aunt Jessica and Uncle Slade...and is making up her bed so well these days :)

Walked up on this and smiled.  He is the very best I know.

A lost dog made our house his home one day until his owners came to get him and the kids loved it.  Garner decided that she would read to him to keep him company while he waited :)

He also grabbed a nap.  So so cute!  Almost made me want one of our own...but just for a minute.

PJ day at co-op...totally speaking my language!

And the 3yo fits.  This one because she was told to only get one piece of toast instead of two.  It was quite the show...

One of my favorite sights ever.  He zoomed through several books in the Veritas viking series in Feb.

And she loves her felt board from Bebe :)

Sister love

Lots of fun Winter Olympics watching throughout the month

Happy, excited face!

And sad, fever-y face :(

Time with our FCA family.  I love that they love to be here...and they are so awesome with our kids!

Another reader.  That looks like a teenager.  Sigh

Garner loves to spray and wipe...and Mama loves the help!

:))

So proud of my becoming-a-handyman hubby!  First time putting up a ceiling fan and he did a great job :))

She gives the best hugs

Opening day for baseball season...and it was a beauty!

Another day, we waited up for daddy to get home from the field and Garner finally racked out as Greer read to her.  Such sweetness :)

Fun rainbow lunch :))

Blueberry smoothie mouth :)

Cute boys playing and waving to me while I worked

She loves to do her "work"

And he cracks me up with his new self-do

After the snow and ice storms and earthquakes and power outages and school closings, I was seriously confused about what day and even week it was.  I messed this particular day up being at the wrong places and not being at the right ones, but we finally landed at Earth Fare for kids eat free night and just sat out in the gorgeous weather to regroup.  It was lovely :)

Enjoying some Brian Regan with the littles ;)

Sweet sweet brother

Had to snap a pic of her in her room for a co-op project and seriously.  She looks so old :(

Later the same day, we went to the park and I gave her a gentle push as I walked by to help Garner.  She looked back and said, "I don't need a push, Mom.  I've been doing this for years.  Since 2012." :))

Afterwards, we stopped by to check on Gehrig at the baseball field.  There were several games that Saturday so I wanted to make sure he wasn't ready to come on home with us.  I found him up there with some players and realized there was no chance that he was leaving with me ;)

Jenn's sister, Amanda, and her friend stayed with us to run the 1/2 marathon here.  We loved the time with them!  The kids warmed to this Maemae instantly :))

And she did sweet things like wear the rainbow loom bracelet from Greer on her bib number during the race. So looking forward to seeing her more when the Links move and hopefully convincing her to move here too!

Silly kiddos :)

Suggested some Hardy Boys for Gehrig to try at the library...

...and he chose this instead.  That kid loves a picture encyclopedia ;)

It helps him get his schoolwork done :))

...and she is beautiful :)

We are so so so thankful for some better weather coming.  Ready for spring and thankful for this beautiful day to work out on the porch!

...and read in the playset :))

More FCA fun with sweet Clay

Aunt Lindsey found this for Garn and she has loved it so much.  And she's been shocking us with writing her letters from its practice too!  An added bonus is how cute it looks covering the length of her legs with her piggies sticking out at the end :))

All.  By.  Herself.  Wow!

work and play

My annual work trip came around and this time, my sweet co-worker bud Dawn came too.  We didn't waste any time getting down to business on the way :))

A little girl time before dinner

Looking official :) and a great opportunity to visit with so many of our pharms...

Giant Disney chairs :)

Dinner again...

...and a whole lot of laughing :)).  So thankful to have co-workers that are friends too.  We had so much fun!

We crashed at the Links on our way home and Garner quickly grew attached to Dawn too :)

While we were gone, the 3Gs were at their second home with the Links.  I can't explain what a peace we feel knowing that they are in their element, having fun and doing schoolwork and staying in routine etc.  We are so so blessed to have such great friends and are incredibly grateful for their willingness to parent our kids for us so well for a few days!

Jenn makes school fun!  Playing a sensory game...

...and table time for the bigs.

She had all the little napping at the same time...

...and had lots of fun activities for their wake time :)

Preparing dinner!

And their school assignments for day 2 :)

Greer was in her element with baby Andrew time...

...and the 3yos had fun again on day 2 with stations and outside chats.

Fun graphing with Mads

And table time for the youngests

Love seeing them all together :))

...and so SO grateful that we are in the last few weeks of living in different cities!  Thank you, again, Matt and Jenn, for having them!  Our hearts are so full from your love for us and from watching all these cuties grow up and do life together.  We are incredibly blessed.

stone osborne

We've rarely been able to be at the hospital for our nephew/nieces' births and were so grateful that it worked for us to get to Atlanta right as Slade and Jessica's sweet baby, Stone, was arriving in February. They didn't know we were coming, so we commented with excitement as they texted us the first pic...as we parked in the hospital parking deck to head inside for a visit :))

So so beautiful!

Slade was so sweet and happy and surprised that we were there.  And seriously, just so cute as a daddy.

I think this is the first time we've all been there for any of the kids' birth-days.  So fun :))

Sweet snuggles

Best bottom lip ever!

We crashed at Bebe's and then enjoyed a breakfast with the Pouloses.  The kids stayed with them and played for a bit longer while B and I made one more quick trip to visit them all before we headed back for B's game.

Love the way Stone is looking at B :)

Cutie

So excited for them and for big sister, Lily!  Really hope that we get back that way soon for a solid visit at home.  Much love :))
