visiting mammaw

After Andrew's birthday party, we hit the road for a weekend at Mammaw's.  Garner was pooped from the partying and caught a nap on the way ;)

We got to the farm just in time to head out to dinner with Mammaw & Pots.  So pretty there and fun to feed the catfish (and alligator :))...

At church on Sunday, the girls snuck up to the front row to be as close as possible to Mammaw as she sang...it was so sweet :))

And Gehr looked like a worship leader helping her with her guitar on the way out to the car ;)

While I caught up on some work, Mammaw, B and the Gs had lots of fun on the farm :))

And Garn ended the visit as she began it...asleep in the car!  It has never been super easy for her to fall asleep traveling, so it was hilarious to see it happen to her twice on one trip.  So thankful for a good visit and time in the great outdoors with our sweet Mammaw...we love you! :)

no more babies

It is so crazy that we (MasseyLinks) are moving more and more out of baby life when it's been all we've known together for so many years.  The last baby turned 1 a few weeks ago and Jenn did such a great job prepping and decorating with a perfect banner to describe my thoughts on this journey of parenting...

I will admit that I didn't always feel like time was moving quickly when the babies were little and we were so tired...but now?  It feels like they are growing faster than weeds :(

Such a really fun and sweet time.  We are so thankful for Andrew's life and hope the rest of the years move a little slower.  Happy birthday to the much-loved baby of our crew!  (even if he's officially not one anymore ;))

family time

So glad for a bulk of days for visiting fam this summer.  We made our rounds to all my siblings and had a great time! :)

Pouloses first...playing, swimming, snuggling with Aunt Lindsey at home and then enjoying a cute class at Williams Sonoma...  

Meg is so grownup and both she and Nathan are so so good with kids...

(Gehr had ended up staying in Chattanooga with his buddy, Clay.  So fun to get pics from Em while we were fam visitin'...at the lake with Clay's grandparents...

...and the baseball field to watch Clay.  He was right at home and had so much fun!)

We went to Britt & Margaret's (cute!) new house next, with a couple of pool days with our extended crew.  It's so nice that everyone is close enough to join when schedules allow.  Love :)

And spent the last night at Slade and Jessica's...cute and happy :)  

On our way out, we made a quick stop at the Braves box office for July tix.  It made for some fun playing in the courtyard at Turner Field....love these cuties :))

After Britt & Margaret's move back to Georgia and now B's job change, we've already seen more opportunity for us all to be together.  We're so grateful for that blessing for us and for our kids to have more time with their cousins too.  Looking forward to many more sweet visits...thank you all for having us!  We love you!!
