We enjoyed changing things up this year and heading the Watsons' way for our December visit. It was so much fun to see their beautiful place and hang out for a couple of days. We miss them so so much!
They have always loved our kids so well :). Jess had plans the first night for make-your-own pizzas and Greer loved helping...
And their pets! The kids were already excited about lots of playtime with Tate, but were over-the-moon to find two baby kittens there to love on too :))

In so many ways...
The Habitat for Humanity Global Village is close by, so we enjoyed an awesome tour and lots of examples of homes they've built all over the world. So so cool to see it all and thankful for their ministry...
The Gs and I were in awe at the Bibles in different languages after reading so much about Bibleless peoples the last few years in our homeschool curriculum...
And this...a sign hanging in the slums. They had a section built showing the intense poverty of the areas where they come in and work to provide better housing. It was heart-wrenching...
Afterwards, they provide "passports" to stamp as you go through the global village. The homes are built to the needs of that climate and culture. This is one of several...

It was all so great and too fast. Love them both dearly...sure was hard to say goodbye :((
