spring break!

We are so thankful for several great visits with buddies over spring break this year while Daddy worked a lot.  So nice to hang close to home and catch up without school and other scheduled activities :)

First up was a sweet Sprouse playdate.  These two are so cute...pjs and naked baby outside time while the mamas visit ;)

Then, park-hopping around town with the Links!  Jenn always has the best ideas :))

Tuesday, the bigs went for a fun playdate at the Copleys and then we headed to Beman St and had such a fun time visiting with the Gibbs and their furry friends :)

Met back up with Gehr and the Ruckers for our 2nd annual spring break putt-putt outing... seems appropriate for Masters week :))

So sad we didn't get a pic of our Duke buds Thursday.  We loved our almost-sleepover and great long mama catching-up after the kids' bedtime.  And then a park playdate with the Kelleys and some good time with Gehrig's buddy, Luke, on Friday :).  They played while I did some house-cleaning work that morning. Not a bad view!

Such sweet buddies since they were 2 :)).  Katelyn joined us to play with the girls too.  So fun!

Gehrig got one more playdate at Christopher's (he was seriously set-up this week!) and then our annual visit with these...  Love and miss them like crazy!

Masters Sunday with the Rucks while their parents went to the tourney.  Always so fun to play and watch the last round together :))

B had a ticket for Gehrig to go in with him some that afternoon, so we took him to meet up and went for frozen yogurt and bookstore browsing while we waited to pick him up :)

Back home to watch Spieth win it!

We read through Ann Voskamp's "Trail to the Tree" again this year and always love how it prepares our hearts to better appreciate Christ's sacrifice for each of us.  Although our finite minds will never fully grasp the greatness of the gospel this side of heaven, we worship and praise Him and pray to live lives that daily reflect and pursue Him with urgency.  Thank You, Jesus, for resurrecting our sinful natures through the cross!  Amazing, beautiful grace.

Hard to beat a night with the Links + Mat Kearney + the Tabernacle!  So thankful for Mammaw coming to hang with the Gs to let us get away for a quick double date trip to Atlanta with our buds :)

We had a great full month of Wednesday book clubs in April!  Garner is starting to express sadness over it wrapping up as summer arrives...it has been her favorite thing this year :)
