Oh, we had a time with sickness this spring! Greer had a second bout with strep throat (6th one for the family as a whole) and temps in the 106s. It was crazy and sad. Thankfully, we had a sweet Easter package from the Dormans to brighten her day, meds helped between fever spikes, and we finally determined that Gehrig may have been a carrier the whole time and got everyone treated once and for all. So glad to be past it!
Fun Massey-Link school/play day :))
And a co-op project for Gehr :)
Co-op buddies :))
And a presentation on Israel for his geography class :)
Jenn and I loved Greer's interpretation of this art project for her 1st grade geography class that Jenn taught. The example is on bottom and Greer's free-spirited version is above it. I love that we have several of the same works of art now from Gehrig and Greer...this is usually similar to what those comparisons look like too ;)
Around the house...reading and painting and game-playing :)
And a little selfie silliness for Greer and Mama :))
One last check at the doc...they grew VERY tired of throat swabs!
And back to Daddy's old stomping grounds to watch a playoff game...so great to see a couple of our favorite players have a great outing!
Oh, and Gehr randomly scored a free set of golf clubs while there too! Thanks God :))
Sweet sisters :)
And a little family date night, thanks to B's sweet baseball parents and a collection of giftcards at the end of the season...
Can't give thanks enough for so much downtime with my hubby...lots of lovely front and back porch dating...
And documenting these three continuing to sleep in the same room. Love it :)
So good to have a girls' lunch outing with Steph in town!
And a visit with cutie cousin Charlie that afternoon :)
Another fun playdate with our buds :))
And Massey-Rucks at Gentry's game...love their silliness :))
And friendship...the bond is great
How did these girls grow up so fast??
And thankful for a rare kid-free hour one afternoon to enjoy a treat and the Word :)
Finally, a little essential oils attempt. Greer struggles to fall asleep every night (like her mama), so we have started applying lavender oil to her feet. Not sure it has helped since they get super silly and giggly with it tickling so much, but it's fun and smells good at least ;)
Hoping to get caught up quickly through May and into June! Not sure how the days pass by so quickly ;))
