january misc

Home from holiday travel ;)

And a few of Greer's thoughts in a new fun journal...

We spent a whole day cleaning her room and closet...and it left her confused.  Is this clean space my bed? ;)

Gentry playdate :)

And a quiet afternoon for Mama to clean and prep for the start of 2nd semester.  Ahhh...

We moved our mornings to the kitchen table...it got us going a little better to be here (instead of getting too comfy in the living room) for a few weeks at least :))

Greer's cute thankful journal one morning...

And our early morning devotional time per her request.  I love her so so much...

Garner.  And I wasn't sure if she would get into this school book ;)

Gehrig's now annual college football championship drawing...2016 version:

And a sweet daddy treat...

Leah's birthday party

And some mama time with these disciple-makers.  So thankful for them!

Love this sweet question book so much...

And the sweet girl time with friend Millie?  I can't even take it :)

Gehr gets his artistic side from his daddy :))

And Greer worked on another project in her closet :)

Neighbors :)

And cousin time!

Mammaw came for a visit after her amazing Israel trip!  We loved seeing all of her pictures and hearing about everything :))

And the Garner-Eyebrow.  *Maybe my favorite video EvEr*

Sweet little helper

And singing "God of Angel Armies."  Heart.  Melt.

Love our mama/kid lunches

And how we encourage picture-smiles haha ;)

Massey-Rucker time...

And a fun wakeup surprise of snow!

Gehr and B ran a 5k to benefit our sweet friends' adoption :)

And we had a laugh-y date night with the Links and Millers :)

Poor (but still funny) sick Garner

And walked in to this gift one morning.  I am going to miss these days with him SO much when he goes to public school...

Discovering the classics :)

And the sweetest Friday nights with the Bible thrills kids

Cutie girls

And love our Bingo Saturdays

Sweet date time :).  While the kids played at the Millers, B and I worked at his field and spent a Saturday together.  He's so cute.

Our girls love making up "tricks."  I had to document because they do these All The Time:

And after Garner told us about her Bible story at church and the "special drink," we died laughing and had her repeat it a couple of times to capture on video.  So so love ;))

Moving on to February...thankful and so happy to be closing in on springtime!

january school and co-op

Little teacher, Garner...

Third borns gotta stick together...so cute :)

Greer loves her crochet lessons with Mrs. Dickson before co-op

First day back for 2nd semester

Airstrike field trip!

She usually starts anything this way...

While the bigs dive right in

But if we ignore the pitifulness, she almost always comes around :))

So much fun, but I have to admit that I was embarrassingly sore for 2 or 3 days after haha

Silly girls dressing alike for school one day...and a photobomber below

And how school days look when the Massey fever hits...she wants to be with us, but can't hang :(

Greer's sweet 2nd grade class at co-op

And I'm only one post away from finishing up another month!  So exciting ;))

We celebrated Christmas with our Bourne family a little late in January :).  Missing the Ingram cousins...

Love these...

And so thankful for how sweet these older cousins are to the Gs.  Love time with them and wish it were more often!

chattanooga 2016

Lots of sweetness over MLK weekend as we made the annual trek to Chattanooga.  The kids get older and don't see each other nearly enough but still just love being together :)

All the Gs loved their first 4-wheelin' :)

And then, somehow all the kids ended up climbing in with the dads when they headed to a basketball game...Emily and I cleaned up after everyone and then sat for a coffee visit :))

They look like they did great! ;)

And a really great date night :).  These couples are so special to us.  Thankful for lots of years of friendship and the opportunity to see them all together when we're there.

Third kid :)...we don't seem to balk as much as we used to when someone crawls in to snuggle

And seriously, how great is this family room...beyond comfy and cozy :))

Sweet girl time

And farm beauty.  Love so much

Dinner out with Owens and Carpenters was sweet and silly

And we had a great lunch with the Clantons too on our last day

The time there always flies, but so so thankful for these visits each year.  If only we could get them all to come back home to live close again :))
