Sellers Family Christmas

The day after Christmas, we headed to Atlanta for the Sellers family Christmas. It means a lot when everyone can be there together.

Women in the kitchen...

Greer loved on Uncle Britt & Aunt Margaret...

...and Aunt Lindsey.

Gehrig was so excited to see Nathan! Uncle Mike, Nathan and Gehrig enjoyed the DS.

Sisters

Grandkids

Slade and Jessica got engaged Christmas Eve with her family in Birmingham! We are so thrilled to welcome her into the family officially. B commented on our way home that we have been blessed with great wives for my brothers and I so agree! We admired the gorgeous ring...

Mom and daughters.

With boys too.

Before opening presents, Slade read the Christmas story and Lin helped the kids with a great felt storyboard with all the characters. It was precious.

Present time!

One of the boys' presents was a football playset with a field and figures. It was a hit!

Christmas Birthdays

The two most important men in my life share a birthday. I borrowed Maymay's cupcake recipe to celebrate!

Gehrig blew out a candle for Jesus and then enjoyed His cupcake too.
.
B enjoyed his too.

Gehrig was in charge of getting B out to the front porch to find his birthday present. When B asked why Gehrig wanted to go outside, G gave up on being sneaky and said, "Well, it isn't to play or anything. It's to see something out there for you that Mommy didn't want me to tell you about." Sweet boy. :) B loved his new tool cabinet...

So, so thankful for Jesus and B...Happy Birthday!!

Christmas Morning!

Even with Gehrig fighting a fever, we had a sweet and fun Christmas morning at home with Mammaw & Pots, Pa and Gretchen. Gehrig walked in while B and I were enjoying the quiet morning and didn't even notice the presents at first. We went in to get Greer and the present opening began!

Before breakfast, we opened the greatest gift of all, a baby Jesus, and read from Luke 2. We are so thankful for the birth of our Savior and for a wonderful, relaxed and happy morning!
