Coming Home to Friends & Fun

Ready to go!

Maymay met us at home to unlock and reveal the girl nursery to us. We absolutely love every bit of it and are so thankful for the time and creativity that she put into it! So worth the wait!!

And finally, all is well with the world. The Link extension of our family met us at home too. :)

My new favorite picture...

Wish we would've gotten a pic of Matt too! Hopefully we'll fix that later this week. :)
So nice to be home with our new fam!

Garner's Birthday

After all the waiting for baby G3 to make his/her arrival, we ended up having to be induced four days after the due date. It was a much different experience than our other two labors, going in during daylight hours without rushing and no element of surprise. Although I wouldn't have chosen it, it worked out perfectly in many ways. And regardless of how labor started, it ended with us meeting our sweet baby girl...a moment every bit as wonderful as the first and second times. And, oh for the record, it was really fun to wait to find out her gender! I would definitely do that again. :)

Love at first sight...

Mammaw brought the big kids in to meet her and they were so excited and sweet!

So special to have Mom, Jessica & Amanda with us for Garner's birth...and so thankful for the sacrifices they made to be there. :)

.
Jenn was with us in spirit and love as she recovered from surgery in Gville. Thankfully for me, it wouldn't be too long before she snuck down to see us. ;)

We sure do love baby G and are thankful for a smooth, safe and healthy delivery. Thank you God for blessing us SO abundantly. Happy birthday, Garner...we love you and are so glad that you're part of our family!

Operation Christmas Child

Don't forget to make your shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child! We had such a great time shopping with the kids this year for them. I'm trying to figure out how to post the videos of them each praying over theirs...one of those favorite moments as a mommy. I pray that our family will grow in love and compassion for others. Yesterday, Gehrig asked, "Mommy, why can't we just make two shoeboxes for the kids that don't have any toys?" He couldn't imagine that one shoebox was enough for each child. And Greer tried to stuff her cherished lovey in hers to give to her friend! Maybe they are teaching us instead of the other way around.

Check out the video and information on http://www.samaritanspurse.org/... collection dates are next week!

Fall Festivals!

What a beautiful weekend!! We can't wait to meet the new baby, but so enjoyed our (probable) last weekend as a family of four...resting some at home and taking advantage of the beautiful weather and fun fall activities.

Wesley had their fall festival Saturday under perfect blue skies and thermostat like temps. I took care of picture taking while Daddy rode the rides. :)

She wasn't quite sure about this one!

Climbing is a breeze though...

After lunch treat

Fun crafts

And bull riding!

Finished up with getting her hair painted...pink and purple, of course!

Instead of trick-or-treating, we went to Warren's festival and had a great time with lots of friends and church family.

So, October is done and the full gallery of pics is up. Now, we are seriously focused on BabyWatch 2010...if nothing happens before, we go back on the 4th for our next checkup! We are ready and so excited to meet him/her!!!

Showering Baby G3

Just wanted to thank these sweet women for three great girl outings this month to shower and celebrate our baby #3. I feel so blessed and love you all. :)
