september gamedays in athens

We are so thankful for the opportunity FCA provides to serve/fundraise and attend UGA football games.  It is a favorite place to be on Saturdays in the fall!

We took a busload of students and the bigs to the first home game vs. South Carolina.  It was a beautiful day and a great game!

She sold most of our programs...countless sweet older men came up and said they couldn't resist buying one from her.  :)  (She even fought a fever that day...hence her lovey.)

Luke joined Gehrig too and they were engrossed in the programs and the game!

Meanwhile, Garner stayed home with Katelyn and had SO much fun :))

After program sales and accounting for all of our ducklings, we enjoyed the game too...

Heading home on the bus with a stop at the Athens Chickfila

It struck me as a little crazy to see those boys sitting across the restaurant from us on game night in Athens...was easy (and a little sad) to picture them there about 10 years from now :(

Garner didn't miss us at all...so thankful for fun updates and pics from Melanie.  She was so awesome to keep her for us!

A rare occurrence the next day...all kids napping on Sunday afternoon :)

For the LSU game (and "red-out"), all three kiddos came along with just a few students and a couple other families.  The weather was perfect.

Such a treat to meet up with buddies there...

Our sweet Hillman friends joined us and Karen was able to break the ice with Garner!  Amazing and so helpful to us :)

We enjoyed having the sweet Runner family too.  It was Josiah's first game and he did great!

Our kids love the Stephanies :)

Richt's requested "red-out" was impressive!

Sweet family time

I can honestly say that I have never been at a more exciting game or heard Sanford Stadium louder than that night.  So much fun!!  I may be struggling with my Bama loyalty...starting to feel more and more like a convert to red & black.  :)

And we have loved having Parker with us so far this year too...we may just try to keep him next time. ;) Go Dawgs!!

september visit

Having a mid-semester break for co-op provided a great opportunity to visit our buds in Richmond Hill.  As I gathered some things from the car and walked in the door, I already found the kids in their happy places... Garner reading with Sam and the bigs in the play/schoolroom.

Garner loved their fall sensory bin...and made a bit of a mess ;)

Outside play...their driveway and yard and culdesac is perfect :))

Gehrig has drawn the big girls into his love for animals.  We found them re-enacting Wild Kratts...

Papa was so sweet to come for dinner to visit and play.  Love how he engages with the kids and so thankful for time together.

Oh my word... if she asked once, she asked a million times..."I wanna hold him!"

So crazy seeing her asleep in a big bed!  This trip was just after she had transitioned from the crib at home, so she slept with me there.  How I found her when I came to bed...

Jenn had an appointment the next morning, so I got to hang with the kiddos.  This was my classroom while Andrew slept.  Love having them together!

Garner's letter of the week...and she was writing it!

My. Kids. Are. Obsessed. With. Andrew.

I might be too ;)

She wanted one more snuggle time at bedtime and he fell asleep in her lap, cuddling with her lovey.  Cutest thing ever :))

Gehr fell asleep with her this night...I had to move him when I came to bed.  Sweetness

We were able to go to lunch with Mammaw on our way home...really yummy and fun!  So thankful for the opportunity to see so many of our favorites as we travel :)

And a fashion show at home with all the clothes from Madi and Anna Leigh Aultman that we brought home.  So much fun and such a blessing for our family!

We love our time there and are so thankful that we are counting down the number of visits left until the Links are back here for good!!  It's really exciting to know that it will be here before we know it!
