Pretty girls showing me their wardrobe picks for the day...
The first week of long division was a little bumpy. Jenn suggested we try working on the whiteboard... a great distraction from the hard!
How I found her during school one morning :)
One of my favorite read-alouds so far...surprised me (what's that about not judging a book...)
Watching the Veggie Tales movie based on the battle of Jericho when Greer studied that story in Bible. Jenn told us about several of them available free on cross.tv. Awesome!
Gehrig spent two hours in roomtime drawing this...he is obsessed :)
A Friday night with some fun visitors too!
Our favorite Saturdays include visiting our friends at the nursing home. It's been so much fun to get to know them over the years and spend one-on-one time after the morning bingo game. Mrs. Tucker invited us to help her with her puzzle-making...she is a pro!
Afterwards, Garner and I had a date for lunch. She was so much fun :)
Telling me all about her "fwiends"
Loved this thankful journal entry of Greer's
For art class at co-op, Gehrig had to recreate an artwork of his assigned artist, Gaughin. I was amazed with out it turned out, just using crayons! He has learned so much from Mrs. Rucker's art classes!
Because I love comfy pants and because the FCA leaders love me, they dressed in my honor one night to come over...I loved it. And now, they come that way everytime :)
We've started to realize that we are going to have to really pay attention to pictures to know if it is Greer or Garner! Especially since they have worn pretty much the same clothes... (Greer in the top two, Garner in the bottom)
Fall garden growing!
Both of our girls have LOVED taking care of baby dolls...
Really nice family Saturday...still in my pjs for dinner, on the porch visiting with B, with the kids play nicely in the yard. Sigh :)
Daddy was home for Columbus Day :)
The favorite dress I mentioned in Greer's birthday post...so pretty!
Greer's daily drawings...sometimes she is totally into it...
...sometimes not ;)
And I don't even know how to grade this copywork!
Co-op instructions were to send in a pic of you in your favorite outfit...it was a no-brainer for her :))
We found this on Gehrig's pillow one night after he had fallen asleep...such a guy brain to remember all the scores!
Sending Sam some love :)
And why you don't lean on open cabinet doors :((
She was really sorry...
Just a couple of examples of Greer's fashions for errand running...if you happen to see us out...
So funny the new vocabulary this generation has...the girls wanted to take funny face "selfies"...love their expressions with each emotion!
Happy
Surprised
Sad
Sleepy
Excited!
Confused
Thoughtful
Kissy
Sweet
And finishing up with sillies...they make me smile so much!
Beautiful day to hang out with Daddy at work for a bit!
Asked Gehrig if he wanted to add a selfie to the camera roll while we snuggled one morning...he was too silly :)
I caught him looking...wanted to capture his cutie freckles
And the big kids had a turn with the fever Garner had...with Greer's spiking at 105. So thankful it was short-lived.
Sorry for the random nature of these monthly posts...I just find myself wanting to note some of the little things because I know I will forget it if I don't :)
