It's always one of our favorite nights of the season and easier this year with the Links back here.  We gather for dinner and gift exchange and game playing.  We were all excited :))...

And super fun and thoughtful gifts all around!

We ended with some hot chocolate, candy canes and The Polar Express for the kiddos...

...while the grownups had treats and played Catan.  A merry Christmas for sure...so blessed to be a part of each other's families. :)

december book club

Whew...crashed on their couch afterwards, even without her lovey ;)

advent day 1: deck the halls

I didn't do a great job of documenting all of our advent activities this year, but the first one is always a favorite as we bring out the decorations and go pick out the tree...

They get SO excited!  By far, one of their favorite Christmas activities :))

co-op art night

The missed November post...

Both of our bigs LOVE art.  They have art class during fall semester at co-op and take other art classes twice/month outside of co-op.  I'm so thankful to have others helping in that area since I'm not gifted at all that way!

Gehrig's semester art project covered Gustav Klimt.  He recreated his work "The Tree of Life"

AND we made Austrian cookies from his home country.  They were delicious!

That night, our co-op held art night, where we showcased the semester's art work and gave awards. Both Greer and Gehrig won a blue ribbon on a piece of their work!  It was so exciting :))

So thankful for this community :)

And thankful that Mammaw came to check it all out too!

During class, every student receives a certificate showing their particular area of achievement.  These were perfect :))

On to December now!
