It's always such a joy for our family to visit with so many sweet folks in Chattanooga. We headed that way for MLK weekend and were thankful to get settled with the Coopers before too late Friday evening. So fun to just pick right up...
We tried sleeping these cute littles together, but Garner wasn't super easy this go-round. She has gotten used to sleeping with Greer every night and apparently isn't at a place to do well without her right now...
Seriously peaceful and so beautiful! Their new home and surrounding farm is amazing...the backyard view...
Saturday, the Owens, Clantons & Carpenters joined us for a lovely extended playdate (for the kids and the grownups :))...only wish these kinds of days were more often :)

The time flew by. So grateful for the Coopers' hospitality and years-long friendship...we love being there! Hoping we can do it again sooner than a year from now :)
We spent a good part of the day Sunday with the Owens. The boys had some big gaming plans...
...and the girls went back a few years in time to create some colonial days activities for us in the woods. Their kindred and creative spirits are precious, sweet and fun. I so wish they had more regular time together...

And this. No one is ever able to crack Garner's steely attitude without months of constant interaction (and maybe some long hair for her to play with too ;)). But she totally could not resist Chad. He was so sweet and didn't give up on her...and she totally caved. So amazing :)

And love this of Chad and B...two of the best hubbies and daddies I've ever known for sure.
Praying, praying and love you, dear friends! It's never easy to leave...so thankful for you and the ease, commonalities, spiritual digging, laughter and honesty we share. Thank you for loving us well and teaching us so much :))
We headed out that evening for Canton and a super sweet and fun overnight visit with the Johnsons. Jenny and I crack up all the time at how many similarities our kiddos share (from looks to personalities to interests)...and they really do have just the best time with each other. The girls dug into dress-ups and playtime pretty quickly...
...while the boys played and played. I don't feel like we saw a lot of them ;)

So love these and their mom and dad too! Working to get us all together lots more :))
The whole moving-away thing stinks! I can't imagine how much fun it would be (for us and our kids!) to have everyone still here. Grateful for good good visits and technology for the in-betweens. And stopping now to give thanks for the sweet way God loves us through His people. Such grace :)
