spring break

This year, we stayed in town for Spring Break and enjoyed lots of Masters company, playdates and family time at home while B worked lots of hours.  Our first guests were some of the Gibbs fam.  So enjoyed having them and reminiscing over Tough Mudder pics too :)

Meanwhile, our kids had it made with a true break for them...no work and allllll play.  Gehr couldn't wait for our buddies to arrive to hang out one day...

Another morning, we finally made it to the library.  My kids ask to go almost daily and I hate that it's so hard to fit it in normal life.  So thankful we could enjoy a relaxed morning there over the break.  As we were walking in, the bigs commented, "The library is like Garner-heaven!"  And it's true...I've never seen a 2yo more interested in books.

Completely quiet the rest of the day running errands ;)

B's fam came in on Wednesday too...no pics though :(.  Then, Eric and Jessica arrived for the weekend and we enjoyed our time so much.  Jessica's long hair (good for playing with) and pup, Tate, endeared her to Garner immediately. 

While they enjoyed some time at the tournament, our Rucker kiddos joined us for the day while their parents were there too.  So much fun eating, playing, planting our spring garden and playing in the sprinkler :)

We finished the day by watching "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" and sneaking Tate treats while his mom and dad were gone ;)

I would keep Tate forever.  He was awesome and easy and so fun for the kids, especially Garner Bug :)

(Even came and snuggled with me to get a break from the kid-love, though Garner found him quickly :))

More time with E&J on Sunday...really, really wish they still lived here.  I know three kiddos who wish that too :)

And seeing Daddy on Monday for the first time in days!  He got home after bedtime every night and was gone again before we all woke.  It was a fun reunion :)

Thankful for a great week and thankful for getting back to routine too :)
