tough mudder weekend

Slade, Jessica & Lily and the Link fam joined us the first weekend in April for all the guys to run in the Tough Mudder again this year.  The weather was SOOOOooooo much better than last year's February version and they all did a great job!  I think there were about 20 guys total on their team and they stayed together and finished well.

Before pics with super bright yellow so that we could spot them!

The Dorman boys can put together quite a crew of great guys!

Moment of silence and the TM pledge to start...

They set up a spectator route this year that made it so easy for us!  The first one we saw was the least favorite for most participants...an ice-water bath.  I love the expressions on their faces before and after!

Great wives and friends to watch with...Jenn, Jessica and many others we love :)

This one looked the most strenuous...huge troughs of muddy water with mounds to climb over.

Jumping through fire into cold water...

This was my favorite obstacle to watch...leaping across to floating platforms.  We watched for a little while beforehand and there were multiple approaches.  Our guys paused to watch and make a plan of attack.

Matt and B scaling the wall sideways...

Apparently, B picked the wrong tunnel to crawl through :)

Can opener :)

B, Matt & Slade...love these guys!

And Milan too!

Mount Everest was so much better this time around...

Matt helping B...

Love all the teamwork :)

Cute brother

Funky Monkey (bars)

And finishing up by running through live electricity.  They got to this point this time so much better off than they did last year!

Tough Mudders...part deux

Meanwhile, our kiddos had so much fun at the Ruckers.  We are so blessed to have our back-and-forth kids arrangement.  They are all at home either place.  Love the relationships they have with each other :)

And once we were all back home, we got lots of baby love from cutie-pie, Lily.  Garner loved "holding it."  And so did the rest of us.  She is such a doll baby and has great parents too!

Loved visiting with all the Links & Sellerses that evening...and so proud of my hubby and all the guys.  Hope it works out to do it again next year!
