Did I Mention Baseball?

So, we've been to a few baseball games this month... a few things that we love about them:

1. Spring weather.
2. Greer calling "dad-dee" through the fence...and remembering Gehrig doing that like it was yesterday.
3. Getting very dirty playing in the dirt and rock piles.
4. Riding the "tractor" with Daddy after the games.
5. Actually catching a few (not many, but more than last year) of the plays this year.
6. Seeing B in cute baseball pants. (Okay, that's my favorite. :))
7. Going to work with Daddy.
8. Having friends join us!

In pictures...

Gehrig's best friend, Madi, visiting at the field with some cutie pigtails.

Oh yes, they did get dirty!

Daddy daycare at work! Gehrig's buddy, Cooper joined them on the tractor ride.

Home away from home.

Being creative by bringing Mommy a "bouquet" of weeds. :)

Geh-rig!

My favorite guys.

Spring-y green!

Britt & Margaret

My brother, Britt and his bride-to-be, Margaret will be tying the knot this year on Fripp Island. I'm excited about the destination wedding and the opportunity to spend a few days together with the extended fam at the beach while we celebrate with them! Last weekend, they headed this way to a) get a SC marriage license and b) spend a couple of days with us!
.
Margaret walked right in and settled in with the kiddos...they love her! They read one million books together.
.

And then to the backyard...Margaret got some fun pics of the fun!

Gehrig and Uncle Britt playing some wii.

Silly faces!

Saturday was Margaret's birthday, so we went to lunch to celebrate...mexican and cupcakes!

Love y'all...can't wait until your big day!

Fun at the Park with Gretchen & Mammaw

We were overdue for some good visiting with Aunt Gretchen and Mammaw! They came to visit the first weekend this month and we had a lot of fun at the park on a beautiful spring day!

On the way...
.
The girl is so cute and sweet...oh how I love her!

And Gehrig is pure joy. Here he and Gretchen spent much time reviewing the dinosaur pics and corresponding info on the backs of each spinning cylinder. Sunshine, a playground, dinosaurs and Aunt Gretchen...a few of his favorite things. :)

Pausing for a snack...because as Jenn says, it is G's "pull the string in his back" saying to ask for a "snack and a drink." Constantly. He just can't help it. :)

Finishing a fun day with dinner at Mellow Mushroom. Come again soon!

Old Friends, Facebook & Monkey Joe's

It is crazy that I have been out of high school for 13 years. I can't believe it's been that long...I don't feel that old! As much as I initially fought the idea, facebook has been a great way to reconnect with friends that I haven't seen in all those years. We met up with one of them, Heather and her kids (Kamden & Konnor) early this month at the local Monkey Joe's. Our kids are close in age and had a great time playing. It was really nice to catch up. The conversation was so easy, despite all the years. We also enjoyed the company of a couple of mutual friends that we discovered we knew in the area. It is a small, small world!

It was hard to snap a picture of Gehrig & Kamden. They were constantly moving!

Just a couple of fun pics of Greer & Gehrig.

Catching Up

We are in the middle of our version of march madness with baseball games daily and little extra time. B's game today was out of town and the kids are napping, so we'll see how much I can get done in the way of posting about the last couple of weeks! It has flown by, which is good considering it is our family's hardest month of the year. But it is also fun...an opportunity to be at work with B and enjoy the beautiful weather! Here goes...

Friends & Birthdays

Despite the crazy weather, we enjoyed a great weekend with a visit from great friends, the Baileys, and parties for Madi and Matt Link's birthdays!

We met up with the Baileys and Links at Chickfila for dinner Friday night. Gehrig couldn't wait to see Cam!

The girls...Greer, Madi & Claire.

A cute pic of good friends, Greer and Madi.

All 5 kids on the play area!

The boys had a great time playing with transformers, race tracks, playing wii and wearing their superhero p-pays.

The girls had fun watching mariokart in their sweet girly p-pays.

Saturday morning, we all went to Madi's birthday party! Can't believe she is 2!

Fun mommy time with Amanda, Jenn & Katie too.

Greer loved the coloring activity!

And the velcro plastic food.

Greer, Claire & Madi dressed up as princesses!

Saturday night, we enjoyed a fun night out for Matt's birthday dinner!

And we finished out the weekend looking for snow and not getting any! Oh well...
The February album is on the right!
