Beach Week!

B and I love going to the beach every summer with the Coopers and Dormans! And we love that now our kids remember and look forward to it as much as we do. Tradition and memories in the making :). We had another fun time this year with some craziness thrown in!

The Links now live only an hour or so from the beach, so they joined us there for a day! Madi and Bo were super cute playing together :)

One of the cutest pictures ever! Gs, Bo, Clay & Madi. I sure do love these kids and the friendships they share!

Beach day 2...Greer woke up the night before with high fever and since she has struggled with chronic ear infections for the past few months, I took her in to see a pediatrician to make sure it wasn't another one. Turns out it was just a 24hr fever virus, but we were sad to miss a day with everyone. :( And we were so nervous that everyone else would get it.

By the evening, Greer felt well enough to go to Harbor Fest with us and the Dormans surprised us by meeting us there for the evening!

Beach day 3. Em and I had the day with the kiddos while the daddies went for golf. While they were there, they got the call that our babysitters had gotten into a car accident on the way down and had to go pick them up. Thankfully, everyone was ok but it made for a scary day for them and us...

That night, Brittany and Amanda stayed with the kids while we went to a jazz club for music and dinner. It was really nice...great food and entertainment, but SO hot! Something was not working well with their AC and boy did Em and I feel it in our swollen legs and feet by the time we left!

Day 4...looking for sharks' teeth and waiting for the Dormans. We went on an adventure to find sharks' teeth and never ended up at the right place, but we got some cute pics trying! :)

Yippee! The Dormans are here! This was their year to join us for the last part of the week instead of the whole time. We like it better when they get to come the whole time, but we were so glad to see them on Thursday!
