Happy Independence Day!

After all the travel, we were thankful to celebrate the 4th at home and so glad that you can see the local fireworks from our street. Our sweet neighbors even took care of dinner so we just enjoyed visiting and watching and playing.

B and Tim gave the kiddos a birds-eye view.

Since the personal fireworks were still lighting up the neighborhood, we let the kids stay up a little and enjoying playing with everyone (even though I could've crashed at 8pm myself!). They loved the sparklers!

All done :)

We are so thankful to live in a country that allows us such great freedom...to worship our Lord freely, choose how to educate our children, work, live and play in peace and spend precious family times together like these. Thank You Lord and thank you to all of those who have served and fought for that freedom! Happy 4th!
