Our Coloring Paleontologist

It is impossible to express in mere words how much Gehrig loves dinosaurs. He wants to learn everything he can about them, sleeps with the stuffed variety, constantly looks at books and flashcards of dino facts, talks about them incessantly and lately colors them in his dinosaur coloring books, cuts them out and tapes them on any surface we will let him. In addition to now wanting to be a swimmer, he wants to be a "colorer" and a paleontologist when he grows up.

One of the doors he has decorated with his artwork. His cutting skills amaze me honestly...he is so detailed oriented and diligent in his work.

Though we sometimes grow weary of all things dinosaur, it is so much fun to watch him talk with such enthusiasm about them and his knowledge and memory of the smallest facts about each one is amazing.
