aug misc

Found in Greer's room...pretty much sums it up.  Love her so much

14th wedding anniversary night out and our first coffee date.  It has taken me many years, but I'm finally coming around to the coffee drinking...all for the love of my sweet hubby who has asked for us to share as long as I can remember :)

Fever sad but good snuggles

Better and cutie doll playing

Impressive fort-making by the Gs :))

And Garner getting big enough to join the bigs on sleepover nights

Some extras this night!

We love our local market and how well it encourages us to eat.  So yummy :)

Sweet playdate with Carson

One of my favorite Greer Bible drawings for school...her take on 1 Peter 1:24-25

Umm, the finger-licking is too much!

Girls night!  Lots of years of friendship right here...so thankful

Started this morning tough but finally got going with schoolwork...they love doing Veritas history online and man, she just looks big here.

One Saturday, he ended up taking himself to his room for quiet time...love how I found him.  He still loves playing with animals :)

The new way to catch a tv show here and there now that cable is gone ;)

The girls were here ;))

Sweet Father-Daughter Masquerade at church.  They loved it!

Bible Thrills started back up in August and Gehr got busy on a new round of verses.  This program is so incredibly awesome...thankful that our church participates

Brown Bear, Brown Bear week for Garner and Sam :)

Oh, how she loves her books :)

Selfie finds...my silly big :)

She L.O.V.E.S. playing with hair

Because I don't want to forget these...Greer's "Obey God's Rules Cafe" from Deuteronomy 6:18-19 and Gehrig's essay from a recent personal experience.  He usually does not enjoy creative writing, but this one was super quick and easy for him ;)

Nice weather day for school outside...love

Cracking me up as she takes her week-end "test" on Brown Bear :))

And loving her lacing necklace and lapbook.  Jenn puts together the most fun activities!

Yep, more reading.  It just never gets old

Using Garner's puzzles to make a little memory game :)

And my heartbreak this month...I left my Bible in the rain and watched it swell to twice its size with over a decade of notes in it.  :(  Thankfully, I can see much of it still and can work on transferring it slowly into a new one.  Just really, really sad :(

Looking to fall and September posts coming :)
